DAILY NOTES

This is a personal understanding and/or interpretation of the basic axioms of
the axioms- established truth in the LENR thinking of Edmund Storms- reflected in his extended explanation paper.
  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B1_tFmz65k8BQzdKUFdWdjBGX0dsczMzT3FBZ3ZsT19Sa1FB/view
Ed Storms is the scientist with the most extended  knowledge in LENR- see  his books and many papers.
That means his First Axiom would be that it is necessary to accumulate the maximum of data. process it in knowledge and distill in wisdom -as his real LENR wisdom, very impressive.
The second Axiom is to use the real data, find explanation based on observed data not on imaginary data or ideas.
I cite: "  accept the experimental results  and form a theory around the data"

I don't know if it is an axiom or not but Ed Storms has an excellent opinion about Mother Nature: "Nature is very clear in showing the path" - and he also thinks there are common principles mechanism of LENR for the entire scale of working temperatures. So what we learn (from him too) from PdD is valid for N iH up to thr melting temperature of Nickel.

The paper is  a must read and has to be thoroughly discussed.
I am waiting if Ed will say something re his Axioms then we will continue with applications.

Dr Andrea Rossi:
Science prescribes that LENR must emit high energy gamma rays. Why the E-Cat does not ?

JJ:
Science is a descriptive enterprise, not a prescriptive one.
Prescription is not good science, description of experiments and related results is good science.
Description of products is ultimately the best.
Warm Regards,
A.R.

LENR IN CONTEXT-2

Can You Learn Creative Problem-Solving?
Oddly enough, the need to drive innovation in teams may call for a systemic process to develop creative thinking.

  1. Your heaping of praise on Storms seems curious, he is undoubtedly well read in the field and published but his record of experiments shows he's been distinctly unable to produce any significant results... incompetence at the bench of the art of science very often results in mouthing of minutia.

    1. it is not praise it is reality.
But have I said that I agree with the Axioms?

  2. Ed Storms is selective with the LENR experiments he chooses to include in his analysts. For example, he does not include any results from J. Fisher on Exotic Neutral Particles, Holmlid's experiments, the laser excitation of transuranic salts or any of the heavy particle results from Keith Fredericks. It is the exception that proves the rule.

Einstein proved the theory of general relativity by showing how the precession of the orbit of Mercury exactly followed his theory. One special exception can tell the entire story of a seemingly intractable mystery of science.

  3. Oh wow what a night! I'll write in more detail soon but let's just say I'll need a new wig! ;-)

    1. Mary darling, you were amazing! Just when I thought you could do no better you surprise me again! The best part was when you kept screaming Defkalion and Brillioun. That was awesome!

    2. Oh Rog you tease! Yeah that was fun. Almost as much fun as posting thousands of posts on random forums regurgitating the same thing over and over again.

I thought your midget intro was a nice touch ...

    3. Well if you want a midget intro then Popeye is your man! The complete midget package, height, appendage and intellect. Minuscule in all accounts. :-)

What about your gimp Mary? You kept him locked up for a long time ...

    4. Which one hun? I have lots of gimps! There is Jami (screws his sister), JohnP (down his pants), NTAK (wants a sex change badly), JKW (half his head is missing) and many others.

I brought them all out last night. Did you not notice the differences between them?

    5. No Mary, I didn't notice! But you know what they say about gimps, don't you? You've seen one you've seen em all!

      Same time tonight Mary?

    6. Sure why not! I'll go get a new wig. Let's also use some soap tonight. I so enjoy that slick burning after sensation!

    7. It's a date sweetie. Starve the midget and hang the gimps. That'll keep them fresh.

Don't worry about the soap. Only the best for you ... rough pumice :-)

Can you edit the jokes. If they were funny
they could be tolerated but they are not.
They are a insult to your fine blog.

  5. Here is an example of some "pathological science" that I participated directly in. Back in the day of the birth of the "pollution era", I was a grad student working in methods to detect both inorganic and organic airborne pollutants. One experiment was to irradiate organic molecules in the vapor phase with a 10.6 micron CO2 laser, and look at the emitted photons in the infrared. The experiments showed that under those conditions, ALL absorption bands were raised to the level of emitting, including those at 3.3 microns. The physical chemists and physicists said that experiment was obviously wrong, as a 10.6 micron excitation photon didn't have nearly enough energy to stimulate emission of a 3.3 micron photon, and papers on the experments were rejected. Some very few years later, it was found that molecules in a laser beam could simultaneously "grab" multiple 10.6 micron photons with extreme rapidity, and the energy was dispersed into ALL the possible emission bands, including 3.3 micron, resulting in emission at that higher energy wavelength.

I suspect a metallic lattice is capable of similar effects.
